Last summer we spent one week in August in casa jose at Las Palmeras in L'Ampolla, and I would like to strongly recommend this location for anyone who would like to have an enthusiasm and awesome holiday experience. We were 2 families, with 3 kids each, the kids enjoyed very much the great facilities in the residential area of Las Palmeras. We were also very pleased by the reception at Catalan Ways offices. Eva and your office mates, kudos to you, you are doing an excellent job.
Our family, two adults and four children aged between 11 and 18 spent two weeks in L’Ampolla in July 2011. It was one of our best ever holidays. The location is ideal if you want a ‘get away from the crowds’ holiday, and are happy to explore the real Spain. We booked Cycling, Canyoning and visits to Portaventura through Catalan Ways. The Cycling and Canyoning were great and brought us out into countryside and beautiful scenery that we would not have visited otherwise. Portaventura is a must for teenagers, the closing ceremony each night should not be missed – a serious contender for a ‘better than Disney’ award. A visit to the pretty town Penescola, south of L’Ampolla was a beautiful experience also. A day trip to Barcelona was impressive and fun.
We stayed in Cap Riog. The house was spacious, bright, well equipped and very comfortable. We shared a pool, 25m from the house with a few other families, but generally had it to ourselves. A 10 minute walk, brought us to a beautiful sandy beach. L’Ampolla village is a 5 minute drive from the house, or can be reached by a stunning cliff edge walk by the sea. It’s a pretty village with a nice marina, restaurants, more beaches and sufficient groceries, bakery and butchers shops. We also had access to all the facilities at Les Oliveres, including the beautiful pool complex. The evening buffet there is also a treat worth indulging in at least once.
If you like a holiday away from crowds of tourists, like activity and the outdoors then L’Ampolla fits the bill. Eva, and her family, at Catalan Ways, were friendly, helpful and always willing to help with both advice and practicalities. Nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return.
The Les Olivieres villas are very nice. A must for large families especially since there a lot of green areas, excelente swimming pool, children play ground, very close to all villas and the added bouns of the hotel facilities at our disposal. We enjoyed our holiday stay very much. Thanks for your helpfull advice.
We stayed at one of the villas in Les Oliveres for 3 weeks at the end of the summer 2011 and it was a wonderful vacation. We at first had planned to stay for 2 weeks but then extended it for another week because it was so enjoyable! Eva and Adrian were extremely helpful and courteous and gave me all the information I needed to choose to holiday there. It was rather a last minute planning and Eva sent me a map of the Les Oliveres complex plus floor plans of the villas we were interested in and so made my decision that much easier. Les Oliveres was very pleasant, quiet, lovely grounds, beautiful pools. We did not have meals at the Hotel as we were not very pleased with the quality but the local food was wonderful and we also tried several restaurants on Eva's recommendation. The beaches were very close by and not crowded. We would definitely go back. My husband said it was the best vacation he ever had!
We stayed in las palmeras resort in l'ampolla village and it far exceeded our expectations,it had everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday and more.The villa had all mod cons,lovely furniture and leisure/barbecue area. The area was quite with a lovely coastal walk into the village. Found eva and adrian extremely helpful on arrival giving us tips on where to visit and eat, we also got some lovely wine as a welcome gift. I would definitely recommend catalan ways as it is ran as all travel agencies should be and will be back in the future
This resort is excellent. The villa had everything we needed and the pool and gardens were perfect. Our six children had a great time and the added bonus of the hotel made a real difference.
last summer we had a very nice quiet holiday in Les Oliveres, the house was perfect, a lot of privacy. Eva is a very friendly person, she advised us to make a bicycle trip on an old railway track, it was fantastic, also she tipped us for all the good restaurants in the neighbourhood, thanks again!!
We stayed in a 3 bedroomed villa in Les Oliveres in July, 2011 it was a very good apartment in a nice complex . We had breakfast several times in the hotel which was also a good standard . Most nights we ended our day with a drink at the bar , very reasonably priced . The service from Eva and Adrian from the very first e/ mail to the last day of our holiday was outstanding , nothing was to much trouble from supplying a new TV to arranging day trips , don't hesitate to deal with eva for all your holiday needs , suffice to say I hope to return to the area for another holiday and I will definetely be dealing with Catalan ways .
Nous avons passé cet été un tres agréable séjour dans cette résidence. Nous étions deux couples avec 4 enfants et tout le monde est partant pour une nouvelle aventure l'été 2012. Ce site sécurisé est vraimment le lieu idéal pour les enfants qui se sont faits des copains tout de suite. La grande piscine est visible depuis les villas. La résidence est tres bien entretenue (jardinier toutes les semaines) le mobilier est recent, bref que du parfait. Dernier point, l'agence qui loue les villas est super disponible et nous a fourni tout ce dont nous avions besoin (babysitter par exemple). Une adresse a noté, je peux le dire puisque nou avons dejà réservé pour l'été prochain.
This summer we went with our 3 children (!5,12 and 10 ) to Ampolla tos stay at one off the villas of Les Oliveres. On arrivel we went to the office to meet with Eva. She was very helpfull and gave us a welcome package which included wine and toys for the kids. She gave us many tips and travelguides for many interesting places. The villa was perfect, the vieuw of the pools and the big garden in the middel of the villas was amazing. Everything was spacious, clean and just like in the pictures on the internet. We had a great vacation which started with a friendly and very helpfull Eva. We would recommend her and LÁmpolla to everyone. Many thanks!!
