Villa La Calma is a cottage situated on the south of Costa Dorada, in the village of l'Ampolla.
This beautiful part of the Spanish Mediterranean, known as the Gold Coast, is famous for its mountains sweeping down to golden sandy beaches.
Costa Dorada has a unique climate that is warm in summer and mild in winter.
L'Ampolla is a fishing village that has happily avoided being a tourist destination. Famed through-out the Costa Dorada for its cuisine, the oysters, razor clams and fish all come straight from the waters of the bay. While it does have a gentle pace of life with great beaches, there is still jet ski rental and boat hire for fishing, beach volleyball tournaments and a summer season night-club, music concerts and festivals to provide lots of interesting variety.
Villa La Calma was built by two Italian artists and in every corner, there is something to remind you of that fact. It is a wonderland of art, mosaics and sculpture to delight the eye. The property itself is located in a natural park with breath-taking views of the coast and the Ebro delta. It is a reasonably spacious property with open plan design. There is a delightful 30 m² conservatory that offers incredible views of sea, the coastline and the marvellous pool. The pool itself sits on top of the world with its own sun terrace surrounded by mountains and with stunning views. The conservatory runs the length of the holiday home and provides a sofa bed if required. It has windows at each end with mosquito nets so there is always a cool breeze passing through. It is connected to the kitchen through sliding windows, so it is easy to serve breakfast or dinner and enjoy your meal with the world at your feet. The open plan interior features a large kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm, a comfortable lounge and additional sofa bed, a large bathroom and access to the patio. The villa is heated by central heating which makes the building warm and cosy if you visit in the off-season. The stairs lead onto a second floor with two bedrooms. The master bedroom is large and decorated beautifully with art deco mirrors and the view from the windows is inspiring. The second bedroom has its own ensuited bathroom and bunk beds. There’s room for six to eight people with the two sofa beds. You also have a separate barbecue and patio area located at the entrance of the villa. Villa La Calma is an ecological cottage that runs on solar panels, located in a natural park with endless walks. It is just 2.5 km to El Perelló town.

Villa la calma is a beautifully situated holiday home. With a beautifully landscaped garden with swimming pool. In the conservatory you can enjoy the view. You have 300m altitude views, all the way to L'ampolla and the sea. The photos do not lie. Yousee more

You have 300m altitude views, all the way to L'ampolla and the sea. The photos do not lie. You are secluded in the middle of nature where you can walk. A car is a must. The beach is a 15-minute drive away. The coast is not fully developed here and there are several beaches and ports inbound neighborhood. It is an ideal home if you are looking for peace around you. The village of Perello is at the bottom of the mountain and there you can go shopping and grab a terrace. There were some problems with the generator during our stay but everything was solved immediately and with very good service. Upon arrival we were met in the village and led to the house. Google maps does not know the location of the house.

Our children (9 and 12) spent a lot of time in the pool, but also enjoyed the sorroundings. The area offers a lot of things to do and see. One activity we can recommend is cycling on the old railway track (Via Verde) - lovelly area and fun for all the family. We really enjoyed staying in Villa La Calma and are hoping to return some day.

Villa La Calma is up in the hills above L'Ampolla and El Perello, perched on a ridge looking down across the lower ridges to the sea. A lot of time, effort and inspiration have obviously gone into making the villa a delightful place to stay, sculptures in the garden, murals inside. Surprisingly the whole is coherent and better than the photos supplied by the agency.
We loved the feeling of peace and freedom. No neighbours within reach and while the interesting track you drive up to reach the villa, the view you get when you make it Is worth the effort. L'Ampolla, down by the sea, and El Perello in the foothills are both charming and in July at least, much quieter than we expected we had had some doubts about holidaying in Spain but they didn't survive for long Oh yes, almost forgot the swimming pool - it made the holiday. All enjoyed it, without it we would have spent much more time visiting, not a bad thing given the heat which was delicious but better enjoyed in the pool than in the car! |

On holiday with my 2 children 10 and 13 years, we really appreciated this villa located in the countryside which boasts an impressive view of the Ebro Delta. The walks to do are endless and beautiful, on the peaks, in the olive terraced fields .... Wsee more
On holiday with my 2 children 10 and 13 years, we really appreciated this villa located in the countryside which boasts an impressive view of the Ebro Delta. The walks to do are endless and beautiful, on the peaks, in the olive terraced fields .... We did a lot of wildlife observation and flora because the birds can be seen with binoculars from the terrace of the home. We appreciated its cleanliness, space, large terrace and decoration. My kids loved the garden which is a limitless field of exploration.
The villa is very quiet and relaxing and the area is very attractive. In a radius of less than 40 km, we did canoeing on the Ebro, cycling (Via Verde) on an old railway and the boat on the delta that is a paradise for ornithologists. In summary, we recommend it and hope to come back! |

The house is fantastic, as well as location and pool. The route to the villa is on unpaved roads. Only you can not get there for the first time, but you will be charged by the intermediary (taxi drive if you arrive late) On the other hand It is not see more

It's a nice place to unwind. We have been there with three children and this was fine. Nice weather is very important for this place but we had a good week with bad weather you you might get a little bored at the house. So it is a house for sunbathing, resting and relaxing. It is highly recommended if you are looking for this combo and you just want to escape your busy routine

The villa was very comfortable, the pool perfect and it was close enough to L'Ampolla to get to the village and have a coffee and a croissant in a matter of minutes in the car. The evenings were so enjoyable, a barbecue nearly every night and sitting outside when the lights in the garden and pool came on was particularly pleasant. And you can get wifi access (unfortunately it is essential in my line of work) so that too was a positive. I can recommend the villa to any group who is looking for privacy and a nice house to relax and unwind in.

El único pero que le encontraría es la distancia a la zona de playa y el acceso a la casa. Pero si lo pienso bien, eso forma parte del encanto de la casa, haciendo honor a su nombre "Villa La Calma". Villa la calma is een prachtig gelegen vakantiehuis. Met een mooi aangelegde tuin met zwembadje. In de serre kun je heerlijk van het uitzicht genieten. Je hebt van 300m hoogte uitzicht, helemaal tot aan L'ampolla en de zee. De foto's liegen niet. Je see more
Villa la calma is een prachtig gelegen vakantiehuis. Met een mooi aangelegde tuin met zwembadje. In de serre kun je heerlijk van het uitzicht genieten. Je hebt van 300m hoogte uitzicht, helemaal tot aan L'ampolla en de zee. De foto's liegen niet. Je zit afgelegen midden in de natuur waar je kunt wandelen. Een auto is wel een must. Het strand is op 15 minuten rijden. De kust is hier niet volgebouwd en er zijn verschillende stranden en havens inbde buurt. Het is een ideaal huis als je op zoek bent naar rust om je heen. Het dorp Perello ligt onderaan de berg en daar kun je boodschappen doen en een terrasje pakken. Er waren tijdens ons verblijf wat problemen met de generator maar alles werd meteen opgelost en met hele goede service. Bij aankomst werden we in het dorp opgewacht en naar het huis geleid. Google maps kent de lokatie van het huis namelijk niet.

Nous avons appréciés cette maison avec sa vue magnifique, sa piscine et son confort. Très bien accueillis, agence très réactive.
En ce qui concerne l'Ampolla, le tourisme devrait encore se développé...

En vacances avec mes 2 enfants de 10 et 13 ans, nous avons pleinement apprécié cette villa située en pleine garrigue qui bénéficie d'un point de vue époustouflant sur le delta de l'Ebre. Les promenades à effectuer sont innombrables et magnifiques, susee more
En vacances avec mes 2 enfants de 10 et 13 ans, nous avons pleinement apprécié cette villa située en pleine garrigue qui bénéficie d'un point de vue époustouflant sur le delta de l'Ebre. Les promenades à effectuer sont innombrables et magnifiques, sur les crêtes, dans les champs d'oliviers en terrasses.... Beaucoup d'observation de faune et flore sachant que les oiseaux peuvent être vus avec une paire de jumelle de la terrasse de la maison. Nous avons apprécié sa propreté, sa clarté, sa grande terrasse et sa décoration. Mes enfants ont beaucoup aimé le jardin qui est un terrain d'exploration sans limite.
La villa bénéficie d'un environnement très calme et propice à la détente mais la région est très attrayante. Dans un rayon de moins 40 km, nous avons pu pratiquer du canoë sur l'Ebre, du vélo sur une ancienne voie de chemin de fer, du bateau sur le delta qui est le paradis des ornithologues. En résumé, nous vous la conseillons et espérons y revenir ! |

Les promenades à effectuer sont innombrables et magnifiques, sur les crêtes, dans les champs d'oliviers en terrasses....
