Casa Raquel is a house situated on the south of Costa Dorada, in the village of l'Ampolla managed by Catalan Ways.
Catalan Ways has two offices in l’Ampolla to give support and information on all aspects of your holiday on the Costa Dorada; our job is to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to have the wonderful holiday you deserve.
Casa Raquel is an elegantly furnished property with open plan dining and living areas, separate kitchen and an independent conservatory and private garden. There is a sense of elegance in the furnishings but with four bedrooms, this town house with views of the sea and pool is large and luxurious. The master bedroom comes with ensuited bathroom and access to a balcony with sea views. The second bedroom has a four-poster bed, the third a single bedroom with shared bathroom. The top floor bedroom has a king size bed, a single bed and with access to balcony and breathtaking sea views. It is air-conditioned throughout and offers great on-site facilities such as tennis, football pitch, ping pong and paddle ball plus free Wi-Fi. In other words, the perfect resort for active families.
Las Palmeras holiday complex that offers an array of great facilities such as tennis, paddle ball, playground, football pitch and an adult/toddler pool. The Arenal beach is 100 m away and is beside the Ebro Delta Natural Park so early morning walks to the bird sanctuary or a jog on the maritime boardwalk are very popular.
This beautiful part of the Spanish Mediterranean, known as the Gold Coast, is famous for its mountains sweeping down to golden sandy beaches.

L'Ampolla is a very Spanish orientated destination, which is what I hoped for. We stayed for 2 weeks in mid-June and had a lovely time. Facilities at the complex (pool, tennis etc) are excellent. Some minor issues with AC and doors which were made gosee more
L'Ampolla is a very Spanish orientated destination, which is what I hoped for. We stayed for 2 weeks in mid-June and had a lovely time. Facilities at the complex (pool, tennis etc) are excellent. Some minor issues with AC and doors which were made good as soon as I raised the problem - my fault for not raising the AC earlier. Great taxi service from Bea and train connections are first class and a good way to explore. The town was quiet for the first week but much livelier the second as the festival began. A pleasant change from the usual tourist costas but may not be everyone's cup of tea. I loved it and it was great for a family holiday.

My wife, two daughters, and myself stayed here for ten days in October. Eva and Adrian were tremendous hosts, working very hard to satisfy our requests. Our accommodations were perfectly located for some exploring, quiet days at a secluded and incredibly picturesque beach, close to some great restaurants, and amply equipped for meals at home. We rented a car and a GPS is essential. We recommend this property unconditionally.

Our and friends family stayed in L’Ampolla for a week at the end of May 2015. The weather was perfect – sunny, warm with a refreshing breeze and on top of it all Eva from Catalan Ways provided us with an incredible place to stay and enjoy our holidays - Casa Raquel.
Eva assisted us in every question we had during the booking & was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived which by the way was way off working hours J As we found out during our stay, Eva and her husband Adrian are very positive and open, always willing to help to make our stay as pleasant as possible and trust me, we had our bad luck. At departure on a late evening, our car’s tire went flat and with no sparerepair kit the feeling was that we are doomed. But Eva and Adrian not only assisted by the phone, they also came to us in a late hour, contacted locals for assistance and only with their help we were able to get the situation sorted out quick and continue our way back home. We were very happy and excited with our stay in Casa Raquel, we would definitely recommend Las Palermas as place to stay and enjoy holidays. |

We had a wonderful holiday in this resort. L'Ampolla is a gorgeous place to stay with great restaurants and plenty to do and see. The villa is very spacious and we loved the complex for our son who is 11. We also traveled with my sister and her childsee more

The villa is very spacious and we loved the complex for our son who is 11. We also traveled with my sister and her children who are 10 and 12. From the minute we arrived Eva and her lovely husband helped us out every step of the way from requests for 'extra pillows'to 'sun loungers' to booking park tickets and even when my husband had to return to Ireland for a funeral they went out of their way to get his boarding passes printed and sorted. I would highly recommend this place.

This was a great holiday in a very lovely setting. Casa Raquel is a spacious house and the facilities are great especially if you have active teenagers like I have. Tennis and ping-pong and access to a sandy beach just a stones throw was perfect for see more
This was a great holiday in a very lovely setting. Casa Raquel is a spacious house and the facilities are great especially if you have active teenagers like I have. Tennis and ping-pong and access to a sandy beach just a stones throw was perfect for everyone. I got to read and they were off and about and everyone got to relax. Eva booked Portaventura for us and when we asked for a kettle, it arrived the same morning. All in all I'd rate this location highly and if my sons have their way, we'll al be back next year.

We spend 2 weeks in L Ampolla, and it was great.
The house was cool, we spent a lot of time in the pool.
The surroundings were fine, with tennis court, basket, badminton, tabletennis play ground and the entire arrier is surrounded by a fence, so see more

The surroundings were fine, with tennis court, basket, badminton, tabletennis play ground and the entire arrier is surrounded by a fence, so no problems leaving the kids outside, and no strangers in the pool ! The only negative thing i have, is the plstic grass in the garden. It was quite hot to step barefoot on. The beach is a bit stony, but ok. manque de rangement à la chambre aux 3 couchages. les propriétaires espagnols des autres maisons ne semblent pas apprécier la présence d'étrangers dans leur co propriété, ils ne sont pas polis, ne répondent même pas à nos " bonjour" . |

Vi bodde en uke i Casa Raquel i juli. Huset var veldig fint. Området utenfor var supert med stor gressplen, lekeplass, tennisbaner og svømmebasseng med eget lite barnebasseng oppi. Utgang rett fra hagen til området. 2 minutt å gå ned til veldig fin ssee more

Utgang rett fra hagen til området. 2 minutt å gå ned til veldig fin strand. Veldig fin strandpromenade inn til L'ampolla som var en koselig liten by. Ingen shopping, men mange restauranter! Eneste negative var maur i huset, må være veldig nøye med matrester. Eierne kom raskt og vasket og sprayet da vi ringte.
