Cui Bono is a luxury villa situated on the south of Costa Dorada, in the village of l'Ampolla managed by Catalan Ways. We have two offices in l’Ampolla to give support and information on all aspects of your holiday on the Costa Dorada; our job is to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to have the wonderful holiday you deserve. Cui Bono is a luxury villa and there is nothing in the least ordinary about this beach front property. First because it is a fusion of luxury combined with a privileged position with the smells and sounds of the Mediterranean all around. And secondly because this unique holiday rental has just been renovated with no expense spared so it provides seven bedrooms all with independent air-conditioning, of which five have private terraces that overlook the beach. There are six bathrooms, most unsuited. The bedrooms are furnished in a luxurious manner. The master bedroom has a separate dressing room and wardrobe area, a large bathroom and a king-size bed and vanity table. It has separate access to a private terrace with designated patio furniture. There are three other bedrooms on this level, two of which enjoy access to their own terrace with separate patio suites of furniture. These bedrooms share two large bathrooms. There is a fifth twin bedroom which is located to the rear of this property with private bathroom, perfect for the kids. What is a wonderfully unique and attractive feature of the villa is that it offers two chalet bedrooms also with ensuite bathrooms that are independent from the main building. This means they afford a special privacy and independence for couples or teenage children that would really appreciate that touch of added independence. The main building has a split-level dining and open plan lounge area leading onto an enormous terrace and amazing sea-views. The expansive dining area and table has seating for fourteen people on moulded leather chairs and is separated from the lower lounge by a glass balustrade. This formidable dining area is located beside a state-of-the-art kitchen which features a 6 m² granite kitchen island, top of the range appliances such as rapid induction hob, a special triple filtered water system to deliver perfect drinking water and a handy fridge cooler that gives easy access to often needed items such as a cool beer or a coke. The lounge itself is an open plan expanse with multi language digital channels and a 56-inch flat screen TV, leather wrap around sofas and French doors that lead onto an extravagant 60 m² patio with the sounds of an ocean wafting in the air. It is a perfect sit around space with two double L-shaped sofas and a generous coffee table for pre-dinner cocktails and chat. There is shaded parking for three vehicles. The villa has a safe for valuables and all of the shutters are automatic so just press a button. The private swimming pool with wraparound sun deck hanging over the beach is amazing. Yet the mature gardens and elevated position of the villa ensure the utmost privacy and comfort that gives you the ultimate decision to make. While it does have a gentle pace of life with great beaches, there is still jet ski rental and boat hire for fishing, beach volleyball tournaments and a summer season night-club, music concerts and festivals to provide lots of interesting variety.

Villa Santa Llúcia was inspired by the simple idea of building a beautiful villa with views of the Mediterranean; the villa brings exceptional creative design to every detail so the magic begins with the outside where there is a combination of different materials and effects such as using giant bonsai olive trees, foliage walkways, a barbecue hut built in the traditional Catalan style and a pool that is paved with the beautiful stone of Ulldecona with a glass balustrade surround to ensure that the pool area is secure and safe for kids. The entrance to the villa is wonderfully impressive, and ascent of 6 m wide limestone steps, onto the shaded patio that is used for al fresco dining with seating for twelve people. Moving inside, one immediately notices the materials are of a superior quality and that there is an obvious flair for decoration reflecting the maritime traditions of the area as well as numerous mounted images of the nearby beach and coastline. The exceptionally well equipped kitchen is to the left through frosted glass doors with a kitchen breakfast area. The open plan living and dining area is about light and space with the lounge and TV area in a spacious nook, the dining table situated in the middle, with a cast iron fireplace and sumptuous decorative touches everywhere. There is a large double bedroom on the ground floor with an even larger kids’ bedroom with two single beds, a wall of built in wardrobes and a baby sleeping cot and playpen. There is a large bathroom and shower area servicing these areas. Moving up the classic glass balustrade of the stairwell, you come to the second-floor foyer where you have two large double bedrooms, one ensuite, a third bedroom with two single beds and a third bathroom. There is also a vanity room for storage of suitcases and clothes and a vanity. But the jewel of the crown is the upper concourse that runs all the way round this magnificent property, connecting all of the bedrooms to the 120 m upper terrace where you find luxurious patio furniture to relax on and enjoy the fabulous views of the sea and coastline. So if the idea appeals, why not spend a few glorious weeks in the lap of good taste and luxury.
