So why is Finca El Molino called Finca El Molino? Well that’s actually an easy one. Because the builder of this house was Catalan and a great fan of olive oil. He liked nothing better than to contemplate this rich, golden liquid being released from the freshly harvested olives by the turning of the grindstone and thence into the old stone reservoirs which was the traditional way of making oil in the area. No wonder he acquired a huge grind-stone with a diameter of 5 meters and turned it into a stone table complete with stone stools for 10 lucky people invited for a barbecue.
